The Department has introduced a new submission process for the 1999-2000 AFRB. The new submission process will be easier and less time consuming for the districts. Each district may now select from three different financial statement formats for its local use. The forty-page report that was previously used is no longer available, but all of the same financial information is provided in the new formats. Also, new supplemental reports are now available. These reports include the Legal Balance, the Male and Female Full Time Equivalents with salary information, district property values, and building losses.
Attached is the signature page for the 1999-2000 Annual Financial Report and Budget (AFRB). Ark. Code Ann. 6-17-914 requires the budget be approved by the Board of Directors of the District and signed by the President of the Board of Directors and the Ex Officio Financial Secretary of the district. The budget is required to be filed no later than September 15 of each year. The signature page should be mailed to:
