The purpose of this memorandum is to provide you with information regarding the satellite downlink of a conference sponsored by the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE). The teleconference, Important Special Education Law Cases/Concepts: Implications for Stakeholders, will broadcast on September 20, 2000, from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 CDT.
The conference provides participants with a brief history and detailed explanation of the legal issues that face special educators and administrators as result of IDEA '97. Supporting materials for this teleconference will be mailed to special education LEA supervisors and early childhood coordinators (ECs) only.
Attached to this memorandum is the technical information for downlinking the broadcast, as well as, information about the presenter. There is no fee for accessing this teleconference. If you do not have the equipment to access this teleconference, it will be downlinked at the educational cooperatives.
