A.C.A. §6-20-326 provides for the distribution of funds to districts which have suffered a significant loss of revenues.

The 2000-2001 Revenue Loss Funding run has been posted on the ADE website. Districts experiencing a revenue loss of 2.8% or greater due to a loss in students or in assessment will receive funding. Eighty-seven districts will receive these funds. Half of each districts' funds will be distributed by September 30. The remaining funds will be distributed subsequent to the calculation of Student Growth Funding. A.C.A. §6-20-326(b) prohibits a district from recurring both revenue loss funding and student growth funding.

Districts that qualify for funds will receive a payment memo by the end of September 2000.
