Distance Learning Classes have been scheduled for the first Thursday of each month from November until April. The distance learning classes are open to all Child Nutrition Directors. The schedule is as follows:
November 2, 2000 - Equipment Layout and Design - Barbara McCarthy
December 7, 2000 - Financial Accountability in Child Nutrition Program - Suzanne Davidson and Nancy Gage
January 4, 2001 - Nutrition Integrity and Nutrition Education - Jerry Swope and Sheila Brown
February 1, 2001 - Special Health Care Needs - Schaun Brown
March 1, 2001 - Advanced Procurement - Betsy Gore
April 5, 2001 - Marketing/ Communications - Rita Hamilton
The registration fee for each class is $10 and may be paid out of your Child Nutrition account. Registration for the November 2 class must be received in the Child Nutrition office by October 30.
Enclosed you will find a Participation Form, Registration Form for "Equipment Layout and Design" and Schedule for Distance Learning Classes. Please fill out and return the Participation Survey, include Registration form and fee only if you plan to participate in "Equipment Layout and Design" on November 2.
