The Distance Learning Class for January will be held on January 4, 2000 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The class is open to all Child Nutrition Directors.
Nutrition Integrity and Nutrition Education will be taught by Jerry Swope and Sheila Brown. This class will give directors a basic knowledge of:
· How to develop a nutrition education lesson plan
· Identify ways to improve the school nutrition environment
· Recognize the relationship between nutrition, academic achievement and the school environment
· Develop school policies related to improving the school nutrition environment
The registration fee for each class is $10 per participant and may be paid out of your Child Nutrition account. Registration for the January 4 class must be received in the Child Nutrition office by December 29.
Enclosed you will find a Registration Form for "Nutrition Integrity and Nutrition Education". This class will be available at all Educational Cooperatives. Please return the Registration form and fee ONLY if you plan to participate in "Nutrition Integrity and Nutrition Education" on January 4. Please fill out a separate Registration form for each participant.
