The required testing dates for the Stanford 9, Benchmark and End-of-Course Examinations for the 2001-2002 school year are as follows:
September 17-27, 2001: Stanford 9, Grades 5, 7, and 10
January 30, 2002: Mid-Year End-of-Course Algebra Exam
January 31, 2002: Mid-Year End-of-Course Geometry Exam
April 8-12, 2002: Primary Benchmark, Intermediate Benchmark, and Middle Level Benchmark Exams (with testing sessions on specific days of the week)
April 10-11, 2002: End-of-Course Literacy (Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11)
May 1, 2002: End-of-Course Algebra Exam
May 2, 2002: End-of-Course Geometry Exam
The dates for the Primary, Intermediate, and Middle Benchmarks and End of Course Literacy Exams were moved forward in response to input from the field. The earlier date will allow more time for processing of documents on the local level. Additionally, there are no Arkansas Activity Associate events scheduled that would conflict with these dates.
PLEASE ARRANGE YOUR 2001-2002 SCHOOL CALENDAR TO ACCOMMODATE THESE LEGALLY REQUIRED TESTING DATES. THERE WILL BE NO WAIVERS GRANTED FROM THESE DATES.
