Three Steps to Healthy School Meals Area Workshops
Training for implementation of the Three Steps to Healthy School Meals will be provided to school managers and workers in fifteen (15) area workshops. The Three Steps to Healthy School Meals is a pre-analyzed Traditional Pattern LUNCH meal management system which assists schools in meeting the nutrition standards and regulatory requirements of the United States Department of Agriculture. The Child Nutrition Unit of ADE developed the system with FY 98 Team Nutrition Training (TNT) funds and is providing this training in part with an FY 99 TNT implementation grant. See attachment for a brief summary of this lunch meal management system.
Attached are the fifteen (15) locations for the Three Steps to Healthy School Meals Training Workshops for local child nutrition staff.
