The Fifty-First Annual Workshop for School Bus Mechanics is scheduled for June 11-15, 2001, at the Conway Career Center in Conway. The focus of the conference will be "School Bus Mechanics; Transporting Tomorrow's Leaders Safely Today."
Registration will begin Sunday, June 10, 2001, at the Conway High School Cafeteria in Conway between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., supper will be served at Toad Suck Park sponsored by Superior Spring Clutch and Gear. Registration will continue on Monday, June 11, 2001 between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. with opening session starting at 9:30 a.m. Mechanics should try to arrive before the 9:30 a.m. opening session. Breakfast will be served on Monday morning.
Attachments include a registration form, class schedule, list of courses and course descriptions that will be offered at this workshop. Please complete the registration form, class schedule showing classes you wish to attend, and attach a school warrant/check made payable to Arkansas School Bus Mechanics Association, Vernon Owens, Treasurer. Registration will be $70.00 for each participant. All mechanics will be responsible for arranging for their own room. All meals will be free of charge to registered participants.
