New Grant Program

Non-profit or governmental organizations and institutions that have been involved in youth programming for a minimum of three years are eligible to apply.

Grants of up to $5,000 (requiring a 1:1 cash match) will be awarded for after-school, summer, or alternative youth programs.

The Arts in Education - Artists in Communities program will provide artists' residencies of 10 days to 9 months for at-risk or underserved youth in grades K-12.

Applications are now being accepted for artists' residencies that will occur between September 1, 2001 and August 31, 2002.

Deadline for receipt of applications: 4:30 pm, Friday, May 18, 2001.
