The Arkansas Department of Education, Special Education Unit, Transition Staff, is pleased to announce regional transition training during the summer of 2001. Four separate training opportunities will be available. The training opportunities focused on Transition are: 1) basic transition training, "Transition From School to Adult Life For Students With Disabilities" 2) the transition curriculum "Life Centered Career Education Curriculum," 3) the transition curriculum "Life Centered Career Education Modified Curriculum, and 4) a self-determination curriculum, "Next S.T.E.P."
