The Secretary of State's Office has informed the Department that they have computed the minority population on a per school district basis and that the school districts may contact the Secretary of State's Office to obtain this information. It is our understanding that the Secretary of State's Office intends to place this information on their website; however, it is not certain how long it may take for the Secretary of State's Office to post this information to their website. Therefore, it is recommended that districts contact the Secretary of State's Office directly to obtain this information. The Department reminds school districts that they are responsible for checking the accuracy of any information received from the Secretary of State's Office.
