STATEWIDE INFORMATION SYSTEM TRAINING SCHEDULE
Cycles 2 through 7
The SIS (State Information System) Cycle training is scheduled differently than in past years. The Cycle 1 training is being held separately from Cycles 2 - 7. The information for Cycle 1 training is listed in Director’s Memo # DIR-01-023.
The training sessions on SIS Cycles 2-7 are planned at all of the educational cooperative sites beginning August 30 through September 12. The schedule (attached below) lists the training dates and times for each Coop and the school districts to attend each session.
It is essential that the State Reporting Coordinator, Financial System Administrator and/or Bookkeeper, and Student System Administrator from each district attend the training session. In some school districts one staff member may cover more than one of these areas of responsibility, and in that case, bring someone else who would benefit from the training. Due to limited space, please send no more than three persons to the training.
Also attached to this memo is a Statewide Information System (SIS) Coordinators Application Form. This form is to be completed and returned ONLY if the SIS district coordinator has changed. If the form must be returned, fax it to the attention of Tinika Ricks, APSCN SIS Programming, 501-682-5035. Please do not submit another form if one has been sent in recently and the information has not changed.
Please make certain the proper representatives attend the training as it will greatly benefit the school district. It will facilitate the electronic reporting process and provide the proper procedures for submitting error free reports.
