"Free and Reduced Price Meal Application/Verification Process"
Distance Learning Workshops entitled "Free and Reduced Price Meal Application/Verification Process" will be held on August 9th, 2001 and September 6th, 2001. The workshop will be held twice each day. The first workshop will be offered from 9 a.m. until noon. The second workshop will be repeated from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The educational cooperatives that will be hosting the training sessions are listed on the registration form. Be sure to indicate the date, the morning or afternoon session to be attended, as well as the educational cooperative location. Please note, some of the education cooperatives' names have the letters "TBD" (To Be Determined) beside them. Call Missy Harris at (501) 324-9502 to confirm if this location is available. The workshop will be open to all determining/approving officials, hearing officials, child nutrition directors or any other persons responsible for approving, verifying or maintaining free and reduced price meal applications.
The registration fee for each workshop is $10.00 per participant. Registration deadline for the August 9th, 2001 workshop is August 6th, 2001 and the registration deadline for the September 6th, 2001 workshop is August 30th, 2001. Materials needed for these workshops may not be received if the registration deadlines are not met. Workshops will be cancelled at any site which does not have a registered participant by the deadlines.
