Due to unforeseen circumstances the Application for New Funding (Years 1, 5, or 9) of the William F. Goodling Even Start Family Literacy Grant, as announced through Director's Memo Number SI-02-005, with the due date of August 10 has been changed to August 23, 2001, at 4:30 p.m. Programs who are submitting an application for New Funding through the William F. Goodling Even Start Family Literacy Grant are required to send a "Letter of Intent", a one page executive summary explaining the proposal of the integrated family literacy program, by August 10, 2001. Letter Of Intent should be mailed to: Arkansas Department of Education - Susan Underwood, Even Start, #4 Capitol Mall, Room 402-A, Little Rock, AR 72201.
For the Application for the Continuation Funding (Years 2-4 and Years 6-8) of the William F. Goodling Even Start Family Literacy Grant, the due date of August 10 has been changed to August 20, 2001, at 4:30 p.m. In addition, the Even Start Family Literacy Programs applying for the 3rd and 7th year funding are required to present an oral presentation on September 6th, location and time shall be announced at a later date.
