The Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (SDFSCA) of 1994, Title IV, requires states to make available grant funds, provide technical assistance and training to local educational agencies. The following topics will be addressed during the in-service: Management of the Grant Application, Budget Management, Non-regulatory Guidelines and Principles of Effectiveness. All trainings will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Due to limited space, ONLY two (2) persons per school district may participate. Individuals will be responsible for their own meals, lodging cost and for making their own hotel reservation. Each school district will be responsible for mileage. A continental breakfast will be provided.
