In response to numerous calls concerning reductions in many programs in the Public School Fund budget, the Arkansas Department of Education is providing a schedule that compares the FY2001 budget to the FY2002 budget. This file is an Excel Spreadsheet and should open on all personal computers containing that program.
The FY2002 budget for the Public School Fund reflects an overall increase of $71.2 million over the FY2001 budget. However, even with that increase, several programs were reduced or eliminated to submit a budget balanced with the available funding.
As you plan your FY 2002 budget please review the attached schedule to determine programs reductions that may affect your district.
