The Distance Learning Class "Financial Management/Cost Control" for December will be held December 6, 2001, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is open to all Child Nutrition Directors.
The class to be taught by Ruth Turner and Nancy Gage will provide Child Nutrition Directors with information on:
· Operating ratios
· Productivity
· Controlling food costs
· Cost of commodity processing
· Reimbursement claim report of financial information
The registration fee for each class is $10.00 per participant. Registration for the class must be received in the Child Nutrition Office by December 3, 2001. Viewing location will be cancelled if no one pre-registers at that location.
Please find enclosed a registration form with a list of educational cooperatives participating in the training. Return the registration form and the fee ONLY if you plan to participate in the training. Complete a separate registration form for each participant.
