The Arkansas Department of Education, Office of Professional Licensure has drafted Permanent Rules and Regulations Governing Parental Notification of an Assignment of a Non-Certified Teacher to Teach a Class for More Than Thirty (30) Consecutive Days and for the Granting of Waivers (Act 1623 of 2001).
A public hearing has been scheduled for December 13, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Arkansas Department of Education for the purpose of hearing comments relating to these proposed permanent rules and regulations.
A copy of the proposed permanent rules and regulations is attached.
