Identifying Teachers With An Expiring License
Professional Licensure has been providing a listing to all school districts of those teachers that will have a license expiring during the present school year.
Information regarding the issue date, effective date, expiration date, background checks and areas of licensure can now be accessed for all teachers that have been issued an Arkansas teaching license, via the internet.
Licensure information will be accessible by computer, by clicking on internet explorer. From there you will enter the web address of www.ar4u.state.ar.us/aplslogon.html. Use admin for the login and also for the password:
1)Click on login;
2)Click on Arkansas Professional Licensure System.
3)Click on applicant search;
4)Click on continue, enter the social security number of the teacher,
click on search;
5)Click on the white circle under select 6)click on PL Limited View.
Licensure information on additional teachers may be reviewed by clicking on applicant search and following instructions as before. It will be necessary to click on reset before entering the social security number of the next teacher.
This will allow quick and easy access to essential licensure information for employment purposes as well as licensure renewal. This is an effective and efficient way to identify teachers with an expiring license.
