The Department of Arkansas Heritage is proud to announce the debut of
Louisiana Purchase Educational Materials at the Arkansas Historical Association Conference, in Paragould, Arkansas, April 18-20, 2002.

Available for the 2002-2003 school year, these comprehensive materials were written and produced by the Department of Arkansas Heritage. These materials are an excellent tool to teach K-8 students about Arkansas’s important role in the Louisiana Purchase, and will prepare them for the statewide commemoration of the Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial in 2003.
