The 2000-2001 Annual Statistical Report (ASR) is now available. A paper copy will be distributed to all school districts on March 7, 2002. It is available as a read-only file at: http://www.as-is.org/general.php. It is also available at: ftp://165.29.215.34. This is the Department's Statewide Information System website. This site requires a high-speed internet connection, such as DSL or higher, to access. At this site the ASR data can be downloaded into an Excel spreadsheet.
Several changes were made to the 2000-2001 ASR. The ASR has added a section on Education Service Cooperative finances and the calculations for "Per Pupil Expenditures" and the "Amount Paid K12 Teachers" were revised. An explanation of these changes is presented in the Introduction letter and the Definitions page. Also, the codes used to pull the "Per Pupil Expenditure" data are available at: http://www.k12.ar.us/apscndocs/business.htm Select: U.S. Dept. of Ed: NCES Public Elementary/Secondary Ed.
