The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) will hold a public hearing on the proposed repeal of the rules and regulations that established the academic standards for student participation in competitive interscholastic activities and proposed change to the Standards for Accreditation, V. Instruction, F. Requirements for Participation in Extracurricular Activities.
The hearing will be March 27, 2002, 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the ADE Auditorium located on the first floor of the Arch Ford Education Building, #4 State Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR.
A copy of the repealed Rules and Regulations Establishing the Academic Standards for Student Participation in Competitive Interscholastic Activities is attached. Also attached is the proposed change to Standards for Accreditation.
