A copy of the School Bus Safety Assurance Program Recall Listing (Listing) has been posted on the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) website. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has recommended the Listing be distributed to every school district. This Listing should be made available to the appropriate person responsible for inspecting the school buses.
The ADE and the NHTSA encourage all districts to complete all outstanding recall work on their fleets during the summer maintenance period. This maintenance schedule is supported by the Arkansas School Bus Mechanics Association and the Arkansas Association of Pupil Transportation.
