For the purpose of estimating the amount of salary increase that districts distributed to K-12 teachers during FY 2002, the Department conducted an informal survey of all school districts. The survey was conducted via telephone and personal interviews. The individual district data gathered in this survey is presented on the attached file. The data does not include the annual increment, nor does it include bonuses. Each district is asked to review and confirm the accuracy of its data as summarized in the attached report.
In response to requests for the data, it will be publicly reported. This is an opportunity for districts to verify the accuracy of the data before it is released.
