In preparation for distribution of funds under Title II, Part A (Improving Teacher Quality), it is necessary for each district to submit the attached Projected Budget Form for the 2002-2003 activities proposed for this year.
From the list of eligible activities, enter the amount for each selected activity (A-J) on the Projected Budget Form 2002-2003. Be sure that the Title II-A activities proposed total the 2002-2003 Title II-A grant amount. No carryover would be included from the prior year.
Please retain one copy and return one copy to Roy Barnes. As soon as Mr. Barnes receives the Projected Budget Form with a signature, the Grant Award will be processed and payments scheduled. The deadline for return of this form is November 1, 2002.
Also, attached is a list of some major program guidelines that must be followed in the administration of Improving Teacher Quality State Grants, Title II-A, No Child Left Behind ACT of 2002.
