The Arkansas Advanced Placement (AP) Incentive Program will continue to make payments and reimbursements for in-state professional development, student exam fee subsidies and score incentives to schools as follows:
1. For in-state professional development, three summer institutes in Arkansas will be available for the summer of 2003. June 16-20 (tentatively scheduled are English and Social Studies) and June 23-27 (tentatively scheduled are Math, Science, Studio Art, and Spanish) offered through the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and conducted at the Arkansas School for Mathematics and Sciences. 2. The exam fee subsidy of $45 per exam for students on free/reduced lunch and the $50 exam fee subsidy for the third and subsequent exams taken by a student will continue to be paid.
3. The score incentive to schools of $50 for each score of 3 or better on the College Board AP Exams will also continue for the May 2003 exams.
