The Distance Learning Class – Update on Three Steps to Healthy School Meals will be held October 3, 2002, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and is open to all Child Nutrition Directors.
The class will be taught by Patricia Winders and Barbara Smith. It will provide Child Nutrition Directors with information on:
* Basic use of Excel software
* Using the Excel production records for Three Steps to Healthy School Meals.
* Making substitution on Excel production records.
* Updating Three Steps to Healthy School Meals recipes with new Food Buying Guide yields.
The registration fee for each class is $10.00 per participant. Registration for the class must be received in the Child Nutrition Office by September 26, 2002. Viewing location will be cancelled if no one pre-registers at that location by the deadline. Handouts for the training will be mailed to all registered participants on September 27, 2002.
A registration form is attached including a list of educational cooperatives participating in the training. Complete a separate registration form for each participant.
