The Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Art Educators Association are jointly sponsoring the 19th Portfolio Day Review. Teachers and students are invited to attend.
The purpose of the review is to bring together highly interested and talented art students with representatives of different universities and art schools. The representatives will review the portfolios individually and are encouraged to give informal critiques of the students' work. The students will receive scholarship information and literature about each school. Students will be limited to six pieces of artwork.
The review will be Saturday, November 16, 2002, in the gymnasium at the Arkansas School for the Blind, 2600 West Markham Street, Little Rock, AR 72205. Secondary students, parents, and teachers may attend. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
