The State Board of Education, at the September 9, 2002 meeting, approved for public comment the proposed Rules and Regulations for Obtaining an Initial and the First Standard Arkansas Teaching License through an Arkansas College or University and the Arkansas Department of Education Non-Traditional Teacher Licensure Program.
A public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments regarding these proposed rules and regulations is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2002, at the Arkansas Department of Education in the main auditorium.
The Office of Professional Licensure will be accepting written comments regarding these proposed rules and regulations from October 7, 2002, through November 5, 2002.
