Arkansas Assessment in Counseling (AAC) and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) are sponsoring a workshop by Dr. Cecil Reynolds on Friday, November 15, 2002, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, during the AAC Fall Conference. Dr. Reynolds is a licensed Psychologist, Professional School Psychologist and Certified Special Education Servicing Agent. He is a tenured Professor at Texas A&M University and works with the Psychological Corporation and American Guidance Services in assessment development.
Dr. Reynolds’ workshop is entitled Neuropsychological Models of Brain Function Assessment and Intervention. This workshop will present a practical model for understanding functional neuroanatomy that leads to models of assessment and intervention for children with central nervous system compromise. Emphasis will be on development of conceptual models to guide practice, although some tests will be reviewed briefly and specific recommendations made for intervention for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
