The Arkansas Department of Education, in partnership with the Arkansas Leadership Academy, is hosting the required training for beginning building-level administrators (principals and assistant principals) and their administrator mentors. Effective January 1, 2003, all beginning building administrators and assistant building administrators will have the support of a mentor. These training sessions are the mentoring model for beginning principals and assistant principals who are employed as an administrator for the first time.

Individuals employed for the first time as a building-level administrator (principals and assistant principals) and their mentor

Mentors: Sunday, December 1, 2002, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Riverfront Hilton, North Little Rock, Arkansas
Mentors & Beginning Administrators:
Monday, December 2, 2002, 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Riverfront Hilton, North Little Rock, Arkansas
Dress will be casual for all meetings.
Meals will be provided, and mileage will be reimbursed.
Registration is required no later than November 20, 2002.
