In an effort to provide Arkansas educators with an easy-to-use format for the Curriculum Frameworks and Benchmarks, grade-specific documents are now available on the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) web site. The documents do not contain new information but combine the current framework and benchmark materials. The grade-specific documents are available for grades K-8 in language arts and mathematics.
To locate the new resources, go to the ADE web site at http://arkedu.state.ar.us/curriculum/frameworks.html. From the table, the reader may select language arts or mathematics content and the grade level to review. These documents are posted in PDF format and require Acrobat Reader.
