The Arkansas Department of Education has been advised that the Arkansas State Police Commission and the Arkansas Crime Information Center Board has approved an increase in the fee for a noncriminal justice background check from $15.00 to $20.00. This fee increase will be effective July 1, 2003. At this time, the fee for the FBI record check remains at $24.00.
