The Distance Learning Class for February will be held February 6, 2003 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to all child nutrition directors, managers and school administrators. The following information will be provided:
· History of the Seamless Summer Program & Department of Human Services Summer Food Service Program
· Documentation and records required
· Meal Pattern and suggestions for menu planning
· Ideas for increasing participation in the summer feeding programs
A panel consisting of Food Service Directors from school districts who participated in the Seamless Summer Program 2002 will be available to discuss their summer experiences.
The registration fee for the class is $10.00 per participant. Registration for the class must be received in the Child Nutrition Office by January 31, 2003. Viewing locations will be cancelled if no one pre-registers at that location.
A registration form with a list of educational cooperatives participating in the training is attached. Return the registration form and the fee ONLY for those participating in the training. Complete a separate registration form for each person.
