ARKANSAS DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
BEGINNING ADMINISTRATOR INDUCTION PROGRAM
The Arkansas Department of Education is hosting a one-day Regional Follow-up Mentoring Training for Beginning Building-Level Administrators (Principals and Assistant Principals). This session is part of the continuing mentoring model for Principals and Assistant Principals who are employed as an administrator for the first time during the 2002/2003 school year.
Who needs this training?
All individuals employed for the first time as a Building-Level Administrator (Principals and Assistant Principals) are encouraged to attend this training.
When and where is the training?
Each administrator will attend one (1) of the following sessions:
· Wednesday, February 26, 2003 Southeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative, Monticello
· Friday, February 28, 2003 Holiday Inn Airport, Little Rock
· Monday, March 3, 2003 Northeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative, Walnut Ridge
· Monday, March 10, 2003 Northwest Arkansas Education Service Cooperative, Springdale
· Wednesday, April 2, 2003 Dawson Education Service Cooperative, Arkadelphia
NOTE: Each of the trainings will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m. Dress will be casual for all meetings. Meals will be provided and mileage will be reimbursed.
Registration is required no later than Friday, February 14, 2003.
