In anticipation of an increased volume of loan and bond applications over the next several months, the Arkansas Department of Education will begin reviewing loan and bond applications monthly. Currently, loan and bond applications are reviewed every other month. A revised schedule, showing application filing deadlines, Loan Committee meeting dates, and State Board of Education meeting dates, is attached. The filing deadline for the March State Board of Education meeting has already passed, so the new schedule will begin with the April State Board meeting. The filing deadline will be March 17, 2003. The application filing deadlines for Qualified Zone Academy Bonds are also shown on the attached schedule.
