The U.S. Department of Education announced a request for proposals (RFP) directing funds to improve the resources and services of local district school libraries. Those interested in more information about the RFP may refer to the attachment to this memo or may go directly to Federal Register: March 6, 2003 (Volume 68, Number 44). A limited number of nationally competitive proposals will be funded. The application deadline is April 28, 2003.
