The National Center for Education Statistics has published a document entitled “Planning Guide for Maintaining School Facilities”.
The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) was one of the organizations instrumental in the production of this publication and has provided the Arkansas Department of Education with enough copies to present one free copy to each school district in the State. The copy will be distributed to each district through mass mail. For additional copies please go to http://www.ed.gov/pubs/edpubs.html.
Hopefully, this publication will assist school districts in the development and/or updating of local maintenance procedures.
