The Arkansas Department of Education will sponsor a Character-Centered Teaching Showcase on May 23, 2003, at the Agora Conference Center in Conway. This event will showcase the state funded Character-Centered Teaching programs.
School and/or district representatives interested in Character-Centered Teaching and how it is being implemented throughout the state should attend this event. It will provide useful information and strategies on implementing such a program. This will not be a funding opportunity, and will be informational only.
The Showcase will begin at 8:30 am and will conclude by 3:00 pm. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. The event is casual.
A registration form and map are attached with fax and mailing information. The form must be returned by May 15. Space is limited to the first 100 registrations received.
