The Department of Education (ADE) announces a video teleconference on Thursday, May 22, 2003, beginning at 10:00 a.m. to discuss the issues of Adequate Yearly Progress as contained in the Accountability Plan recently approved by the U.S. Department of Education. The information presented during the session will be based on the State Accountability Workbook, which appears on the ADE Web Site under “What’s New” and as an attachment to Director’s Memo SI-03-062.
The session will originate from the Distance Learning Studio in the Department of Education Building and can be received at each of the regional service cooperatives and by local districts that have video network capability. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of the Accountability Workbook to the viewing site
Some time will be provided for questions from participants during the session.
