The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is beginning the annual process of collecting updated information for the Arkansas Education Directory. In an effort to publish the most accurate information for the public schools, the ADE has designed the Directory Information Verification link, which is posted on the Department’s Website. This new link is posted on the “What’s New?” column.
The purpose of the link is to allow school administrators an opportunity to review information currently on file with the Communications Office. This is the information that will be used to compile the 2003-04 Arkansas Education Directory. Each school administrator is asked to review the information provided on this link for the superintendent’s office and schools within each district. The district listing is organized by LEA number. The information for the schools within each district is also organized by LEA number.
PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW ALL INFORMATION.
If the Communications Office does not receive any updated information for a district, the information posted on the link will be published in the 2003-04 Arkansas Education Directory. All changes and/or corrections should be e-mailed to directory@arkedu.k12.ar.us . Changes and/or corrections may also be faxed to Gayle Morris, Communications Manager, at (501) 682-4561. The deadline to submit all changes/corrections is Friday, August 15, 2003. Direct questions or requests for assistance to Ms. Morris at (501) 682-4217.
Immediately contact Ms. Morris if there are problems accessing the required information posted for the applicable school.
