Act 1220 of 2003 created a fifteen-member Child Health Advisory Board which is charged with developing nutrition and physical activity standards for all public schools.
The attached letter informs districts that this advisory committee will be developing the Body Mass Index Procedures and the required parental information brochures.
Additional information will be provided to districts at a later date regarding other components of this act.
