Distance Learning Workshops entitled “Free and Reduced Price Meal Application/Verification Process” will be held on September 4, 2003. The workshop will be offered from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
The educational cooperatives that will be hosting the training sessions are listed on the registration form. Be sure to indicate the educational cooperative location. The workshop will be open to all determining/approving officials, hearing officials, child nutrition directors or any other persons responsible for approving, verifying or maintaining free and reduced price meal applications. The registration fee is $10.00 for each participant.
Registration deadline for the workshop is August 29, 2003. Materials needed for this workshop are; (1) copy of free and reduced price meal application used by your school and (2) Eligibility Guidance for School Meals Manual (published August 2001). Workshops will be cancelled at any site, which does not have a registered participant by the deadlines.
