This memorandum provides information regarding the satellite downlink of a conference sponsored by the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE). The teleconference, “Serving Low-Incidence Children in a High Standards Environment” will be broadcast on September 17, 2003, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 CDT.
The presenters will explore the research, education issues and make recommendations for serving children with disabilities, along with their nondisabled peers, in schools focused on meeting high standards and achieving higher student results.
Attached is the technical information for downlinking the broadcast, as well as, information about the presenters. There is no fee for accessing this teleconference. Individuals wishing to view this teleconference will need to check with the educational services cooperative in the local area to see if the co-op will downlink this teleconference. Any group that has the capability to downlink may do so free of charge.
