For more than 50 years, the Fulbright Teacher and Administrator Exchange has brought nations of the world together through educational exchange. The program is open to educators of all levels from elementary to four-year institutions. The program is especially interested in having American teachers in the exchange program to reflect the diversity of the U.S. population and the multiple disciplines that are taught in U.S. schools. There is no limit to the number of educators eligible to apply to the program from a single school, district, or organization.

This year, the Fulbright Teacher and Administrator Exchange program will offer new programs in the Middle East as well as continuing the traditional programs in Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. All applications for 2004-05 must be postmarked by October 15, 2003.

Contact the Fulbright Program’s Outreach Department at 202-314-3527, to answer questions, secure additional information or contact program alumni. Educators may also visit the website at: http://www.fulbrightexchanges.org.
