The State Board of Education, at the August 11, 2003 meeting, approved Rules Governing Non-traditional Licensure to go out for public comment. The public comment period will run until October 31, 2003. A public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments on the proposed Rules was held in the auditorium of the Arkansas Department of Education on Wednesday, October 8, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. Written comments regarding the proposed Rules should be directed to the Office of Professional Quality Enhancement, #4 Capitol Mall, Room 405 B, Little Rock, AR 72201. The proposed Rules Governing Non-traditional Licensure are attached.
