The Distance Learning Class -- Preparing for Reviews & Audits will be held October 2, 2003, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and is open to all Child Nutrition Directors, managers, and other district personnel involved in the Child Nutrition records keeping process. It will provide information on:
· Overview of CRE/SMI process
· How schools are selected
· Documentation and records required
· Panel of Foodservice Directors from local school districts
· Overview of legislative audits
· Districts response to audit findings
· Other State and Federal Reviews
Registration fee for the class is $10.00 per participant. Registration for the class must be received in the Child Nutrition Office by September 26, 2003. Viewing location will be cancelled if no one pre-registers at that location by the deadline. Handouts for the training will be mailed to all registered participants on September 26, 2003.
