Dr. Cecil Reynolds will be presenting workshops on the new Reynolds Intellectual Assessment Scales (RIAS), coauthored with Dr. Randy Kamphaus. Drs. Reynolds and Kamphaus are also authors of the Behavior Assessment System for Children (BASC). Dr. Reynolds will discuss: how the RIAS is best used to measure intellectual ability, how it is different from other tests of intellectual ability, and how it may be used for enhanced educational planning and will also discuss its relevance for use with the BASC.

These workshops will be held in two locations on the following dates:

November 13, 2003, from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM in Fort Smith, AR., at the Fort Smith Education Service Center, Jenny Lind Road.

November 14, 2003, from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM in Hot Springs, AR., at the Arlington Hotel at the Arkansas Counselors (ACC) Fall Conference.

Both workshops will cover the same information. There will be a registration fee of $50 for individuals attending the Hot Springs workshop and registrants are instructed to call 1-800-482-8437 or email Don Boyd at dboyd@arkedu.k12.ar.us to obtain a registration form. Lunch will be provided at the ACC workshop.

Individuals may attend the Fort Smith workshop free of charge, but please call 1-800-482-8437 or email Dr. Boyd to confirm attendance. Lunch at the Fort Smith workshop will be the individual's responsibility.
