National School Bus Safety Week (NSBSW) will be observed the week of October 19 - 25, 2003. This week is set aside Nationally every year to promote school bus safety.
It is recommended that the National School Bus Safety Week poster and the Department of Education "Danger Zone" cards be used to educate students about school bus safety and the dangers of loading and unloading passengers.
This memo along with the NSBSW poster and the Danger Zone card will be mailed through mass mail. If additional copies of the Danger Zone cards are needed, the district may duplicate as needed. Additional copies of the poster may be requested by fax to NSBSW Posters at 518-218-0867.
