A number of questions have been raised about Director’s Memo ACC-04-012. As a result, the attached information sheet is a revision which is based only on the requirements contained within Act 1786 and Act 462. Please note that the library media center may not be closed during the one-third (1/3) time required to be used for information specialist duties, such as ordering books and materials, processing items for usage, financial planning and accountability, etc. This required time does not have to be taken in a single two-hour block daily.
